Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Quortly ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Quortly is operated by JiaYou Tennis ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform for tennis court reservations, club management, and related services.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the Service
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register for an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept all responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity that is not lawfully available for use, or a name or trademark that is subject to rights of another person without authorization.

4. Court Reservations and Payments

When making a court reservation through Quortly:

• All reservations are subject to availability and club approval
• Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified
• Cancellation policies vary by club and will be clearly displayed before booking
• You are responsible for arriving on time for your reservation
• Clubs reserve the right to cancel reservations due to weather, maintenance, or other circumstances
• Refunds for club-initiated cancellations will be processed according to club policy

5. Club Memberships

Quortly facilitates club memberships on behalf of tennis clubs. By purchasing a membership:

• You agree to the specific terms and conditions of the club you join
• Membership benefits and privileges are determined solely by the club
• Recurring membership payments will be charged automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel your membership according to the club's cancellation policy
• Quortly is not responsible for disputes between members and clubs

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or entity
• Impersonate or attempt to impersonate another user, person, or entity
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Spam, phish, or engage in other fraudulent activity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Make reservations in bad faith or with no intention to use them

7. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to:

• Provide valid payment information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
• Pay all charges at the prices in effect when incurred
• Be responsible for all applicable taxes
• Notify us of any billing errors within 30 days

Quortly may collect a platform fee on behalf of JiaYou Tennis, which will be disclosed at the time of transaction.

8. Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to the individual club's cancellation and refund policy. Generally:

• Cancellations made within the allowed timeframe may receive a full or partial refund
• Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the full payment
• Weather-related cancellations are handled according to club policy
• Platform fees may be non-refundable
• Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quortly and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or errors
• Actions or inactions of third-party clubs or users
• Injuries sustained while using club facilities

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the liability.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Quortly makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all other warranties including, without limitation:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• That the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• That the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• The quality of any products, services, or information obtained through the Service

11. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by JiaYou Tennis and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our prior written consent.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by:

• Posting the new Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in King County, Washington.
